Embedding Advert

Embedding adverts from Sailing on the Net in a class association website is really easy. You only need to add one line of HTML to your site. Just print this page and follow the instructions.

Find your Boat Class Id.

Each class is identified in Sailing on the Net but a number the first step is to find the number for your class:

  1. Open the Sailing on the Net website.
  2. Click Boat Classes on the menubar at the top of the page.
  3. Find you class, for example Laser 5000.
  4. Click on the name of your class, for example Laser 5000. The View boat class page will be displayed.
  5. Make a note of your Boat Class Id, for example 213, this is shown below the name of the class.

Add iframes HTML to your site

To embed the adverts in your site:

  1. In your HTML editor open the page you want to display the adverts on.
  2. Paste the HTML shown below where you want the adverts to appear.
  3. Change the x in boat_class_id=x to your boat class id, for example boat_class_id=213.
